  • Yes, and we create a custom Certificate of Insurance (COI) based on the client’s needs.

    • Less stress for hosts—Oogubi staff takes care of everything from concept to full production. 

    • There is actually going to be something for your 1 year old, toddler, and 6 and 12 year old to enjoy.

    • It’s new kind of activity compared to the typical  bouncy house, face painting, caricatures, etc. 

    • Oogubi is the only experience that can handle dozens to hundred of kids simultaneously.

  • A Private Party is a fully produced Oogubi experience reserved exclusively for you and your invited guests. The production is not shared with the public, and the experience is customized around your group, space, and timing. Private Parties are designed to feel calm, intentional, and effortless, for both kids and adults.

  • Oogubi isn’t a fixed space or a static setup. It’s a living experience that evolves through real families, real children, and real moments.

    Because we are a mobile production, every event teaches us something. We refine what works, adjust what doesn’t, and continuously design with both children and parents in mind. The result is an experience that feels deeply intentional rather than formulaic.

    This balance of consistency and innovation—designed around how families actually move, feel, and connect—is what makes Oogubi difficult to replicate. It’s not just what you see; it’s how it feels while you’re there.

  • Private Parties are our most personalized and exclusive option. They differ from other celebration options in that:

    • Only your guests attend

    • The space is reserved just for your group

    • We come to your home or a venue you independently reserve (including partner venues)

    We also offer more social, public-event-based celebration options at one of our Oogubi Signature Events (Hangouts, Happy Hour, Wonderland). These are not Private Parties, but offer a private space within one of our Oogubi Signature Events for up to 25 guests.

  • Every Private Party includes:

    • A curated Oogubi Sensory Production

    • Full setup and teardown

    • Trained Oogubi staff managing stations and flow

    • Thoughtful layouts designed for calm, engagement, and parent comfort

    • All materials needed for the experience

    Parents are free to relax, socialize, and enjoy the party while we handle the production.

  • We get this question a lot. What you’re getting is a vibe based on the curated environment we’ve developed over years of observations. We curate a wide array of activities that keep the children engaged for hours based on sensory needs and special requests.

  • Oogubi is designed for parents and children together, through co-regulation. We design environments that support calm, presence, and ease for adults while giving children the freedom to engage in sensory play at their own pace. When both are supported simultaneously, regulation becomes shared rather than forced—and the experience feels better for everyone.

  • Private Parties are ideal for children of all ages from infants to adolescents. It’s stimulating for infants, calming for toddlers, and stirs the imagination of older children—perfect for families with age-gap siblings. 

    Our environments are designed to support a wide range of sensory needs and developmental stages in a calm, self-led way.

  • Oogubi is designed so parents don’t feel like they’re “working” the entire time.

    You’re welcome to join your child in the experience, step back and observe, or simply enjoy being in the space. Our team manages the environment, the flow, and the setup so you’re not constantly problem-solving or redirecting.

    Many parents describe Oogubi as a reset—not just for their children, but for themselves. It’s a space where connection happens naturally, without pressure or performance.

  • No—and that’s part of what keeps families coming back.

    Oogubi experiences are built on familiar foundations so returning children quickly understand how to engage with the space. That sense of familiarity helps children feel confident and safe. Within that structure, however, we are constantly evolving.

    We test new stations, materials, layouts, and ways of inviting interaction, all while preserving the core rhythm that families recognize. For parents, this means each visit feels fresh without feeling unpredictable. Your child knows what to do, but still discovers something new. It’s familiar without being repetitive.

  • Yes! Travel & lodging (when applicable) fees and additional lead time apply to ensure we deliver the same quality experience wherever we go.

  • All of them! Private Parties can include any of our signature productions, or a combination of experiences.

    We’ll help you design the right mix based on your space, guest count, and age range.

  • Private Parties can be hosted at:

    • Your home (indoor or outdoor)

    • A private backyard

    • A venue you reserve separately

    • Select Oogubi partner venues

    We’ll confirm space requirements and logistics before your date is finalized.

  • The minimum time for a Private Party is 1 hour. Most Private Parties run 2+ hours. This timing keeps kids engaged without overstimulation and allows parents to fully enjoy the experience.

    We also require on average 1-2 hours for setup before your event and 1-2 hours for cleanup after your event.

    • Bay Area Private Parties: We recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance. However, depending on availability, we can do rush productions for an added fee within a week’s notice.

    • Out-of-area Private Parties: Additional lead time is required to coordinate travel and production logistics.

  • Yes! If you’re booking on behalf of a school or educational organization, please reach out through our School Events inquiry form, so we can guide you to the appropriate options.

    • A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date

    • The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to the party

    • Parties booked within 4 weeks require full payment at booking

  • Deposits are non-refundable after the initial booking window.

    That said, whenever possible, we’re happy to work with you if you need to reschedule:

    • If you let us know with enough notice and we have availability, we’ll apply your paid amount toward a new date.

    • If circumstances are truly unexpected, reach out. We always aim to handle situations with fairness and care.

    Our goal is to be clear upfront so there are no surprises, while still being thoughtful and reasonable when real life happens.
